The grinding is a processing technique carried out directly on the borders of ceramic tiles and allowing to join them "edge-to-edge" without slits or, alternatively, in the presence of barely perceptible slit joints. For this process are used grinding machines equipped with diamond moles of different hard grits that give to the treated surface a more natural effect and also a highest level of resolution. By this system, the ceramic tiles are refined on all four sides, and then subjected to an accurate control of some parameters that ensure there're not any variations outside fixed tolerance ranges. The grinding represents the new frontier of the flooring and the cladding of the walls, by which the ceramic tiles may be installed in order to reduce completely the presence of slit joints (just one or two millimeters) and offering to consumers the advantage of having a product aesthetically more refined and elegant.
